She doesn't need to hold the fate of hip hop in her hands to be a degenerative influence. I don't see where the two are mutually exclusive, and frankly you shouldn't have to jump to an extreme absurdity if you have a legit argument that she's not bad for hip hop. She can be bad for hip hop without destroying it out right.
Further, this cornball might well be par for the course of his profession in taking that kind of cheap & easy jab, but that doesn't really have anything to do with Iggy being terrible.

I’ve got no clue who this guy is and I haven’t watched a sports reporting show in ages, but from the sports “news†I’ve watched and listened to over the years, they all seem to be very low common denominator with their pop culture references. Iggy is about as low on the pop culture tree as you can get, what with her being the current pop culture punching bag flavor of the month.
