"Android: any way to disable recording capability for kids or others?"


          

I work with a client who loves to play with her tablet (youtube, movies, music, and recording)...but recording during program hours is strictly forbidden, and the only way to save her ability to bring it in would be to disable the ability to record. Unfortunately the honor system just isn't going to cut it.

I don't see the problem. She either obeys the rules and keeps her tablet privileges, or the tablet has to stay home.

you can lock the camera app out by making it PIN protected and only you would have the PIN....
You can also make it active when in range of certain BluetTooth devices or WiFi networks....
