Say we are at a stop light facing each other. I have my left turning signal on and you don't. If you don't have your turning signal on, then I assume you are going straight so once the light turns green I know to let you pass before I turn.
But if once the light turns green and you inch out and then turn on your left signal or even worse turn without using a signal at all, you are definitely getting a middle finger and some curse words thrown at you.

I don't know how many times I could've just gone ahead had I known the doofball who made a turn wasn't going straight. Another one is when I'm at a stop sign at an intersection and I see someone coming from the left with no signal on. I'm waiting for them to pass and they bust a right onto the road I'm on, thus wasting my time when I could've just moved on had I known they were gonna turn.
