I mean sometimes ur not aware what the pilots look like but u will usually at least hear one of them
besides when I flew interject from cabo to mexico city (and that's a Mexican airline) I cant think of one time ive been on a flight and known I had a female or non White pilot
I wonder why more ppl of color and women don't pursue that in the US it seems

he studied it for a yr during college.
he didn't finish b/c the training was prohibitively expensive.
most pilots get their training hours in the military. those who don't go the military route have to pay lots of $$ to get the flight hours needed to complete their education. my homie learned this the hard way.

one pilot jokin'ly responded to the commotion with, "..yes, a woman is piloting this plane... don't make me turn this airbus around..." as we approached the tarmac. the cabin erupted in laughter & applause.
