You shouldn't expect a woman to cook on general principle, nor should you think less of a woman because she isn't a good cook, but everyone has certain things they look for in a partner, and, since I am a lousy cook myself, I can't begrudge anyone the preference of a woman who can cook.

My girlfriend is a fabulous cook, and I am lousy at cooking, so I value her ability to take care of culinary duties. She hates washing dishes, and I love washing dishes, so she values my desire to wash dishes. We can each help relieve the weaknesses of the other.

I've observed them. She does most of the cooking. But when I was in elementary school HE made breakfast every morning. The fact that HE could was great bc she left for work b4 I got up for school. He worked later so he could see me off to school and he cooked. If he didn't cook our family wouldve suffered a bit. I'd have had to eat cereal everyday!

I think it's irresponsible to have kids and not be able to cook for them - bc what if the other parent goes down? Then what? Frozen meals? Take out? Really? Pssh.

Should an adult woman be able to cook? Yes. Bc she's an adult. All adults should be able to cook.
