I feel like I got guilt tripped into buying a Valentine's Day gift.

I am one of the few women out here who could give less of a damn about this holiday.

But a man in my life did an extremely nice thing for me.

I had to get gift or feel like an asshole for not getting one.

Delivered a bunch of roses to his job (he likes attention) and got him concert tickets. It just felt like the only right thing to do.

I hope he's happy. *Grumbles*

I'm still a little salty about spending the money.
Could've made other plans with it.

But I felt compelled to do it all of the sudden and that's what
really frustrated me.

He could have told me in advance if he wanted to do something.
Nope, I got bum rushed with a surprise instead.

After that I was spending time thinking of
a gift I could buy quickly without going anywhere,
time that I had reserved for other endeavors.
