"help me out here. I need advice/direction"

First of all, I need to know what to do with my books. Specifically:

1. Books that are collectible and for which I have no room in my bookshelves.
2. Books that are not collectible and for which I have no room in bags in my closet and under my bed but I don't want to get rid of because I want to read them at some point.
3. Books that I've read and want to get rid of but which aren't valuable enough to sell.

Second, tell me how to get out of bed earlier. I used to hop out of bed at 5:30 and get a shit ton done before getting to work by 8:30. Now I rarely get into work before 9:30 and I don't know why that is.

Third, what the hell am I doing wrong that I need to take one weekend day each week to just sleep. Read, then nod off. Do a little chore here or there, and then nap. Practice music, then lie down. I'm taking a multi vitamin and my thyroid levels are fine. WTF? Am I depressed? Sick?

I feel like I need a reboot. I used to be so productive.

is it safe to assume that the collectible books that you no longer have room for are books that you don't want to sell? b/c i would guess that there's a book dealer in your area that might be willing to take them off of your hands.

as for the non-collectible books that you're not planning on revisiting - is there a library or nonprofit nearby that would accept donations?

Yeah, I want to keep the collection intact. And most of the books that are unsaleable are so because they're ex-library.

We've all been there. (I know I have.)

As for the books - I pruned my collection substantially about 8 years ago and I do not regret it.

Just keep the ones you *have* to have and sell the rest on eBay (for valuable ones) or at the Swap meet - or give them to charity.

The good thing about stuff is that you can always get more.

Find a book storage device on Amazon like this one:

Give them to the Salvation Army and use it as a tax write-off.

Take Alpha Brain and go to bed earlier. You'll sleep for so long that you wind up waking up out of boredom. If you go to bed early then you wake up early.

I am looking for some stories that can be adapted to screenplays. I am stuck on one theme in specific:

Can you recommend a novel about a person who moved away from home at a very early age and is resistant to returning home because they feel that they have outgrown or become more worldly than that place and their parents. However, they are forced to return to that place because of a sick parent and they come to terms accepting home as the place they should be and accepting that they are more like their parents than they were originally willing to admit. Specifically I am thinking of a country mouse that moves the city and then eventually realize that they should go back to the country.

I am pretty sure you have read everything and I am wondering if this theme sounds familiar to something you have read.

The other night we played a game. Took a shot before pulling a card from an inspiration packet. Used the subject from there to search the sub reddit. Then gave ourselves three minutes to tell a story based off that prompt.

To mix it up we used a random celebrity generator to make the story incorporate that person.

So, it's not an ordeal.

I suspect your sleep isn't restful. Like you're waking up in the middle of the night. Sleep apnea, hormones, noise, anything could cause you to be waking up for very short amounts of time and not getting to the really restful deep sleep phases. Maybe a sleep study is in order.

And have people paypal you to ship the books if they want them

Or donate them to your local high school library

Or donate them to the good will

As for the collectables, there is always space for those. Stack them in the place of that home decor that finctions for nothing

The books you havent read should also go within the first three. If you want to read them at some point, buy them again
