however i, my friends, am losing, cuz i can't get tix to none of it. Not the normal way, at least


Have u ever bought tix off the street?

I was like 12 yrs old going into a basketball game once, and saw dude buy 2 tickets for him and his son. They walked 10 ft over to the gate, got scanned, tix were bogus, looked around & scalper had vanished into a wormhole, and i never saw $200 go up in smoke that fast before. Always wondered how the rest of their day went after that

You can probably arrange a meetup at the entrance with someone who is going but has an extra ticket. Almost impossible to get burned that way.

Never been burned myself, but I've heard stories about scalpers burning people.

Usually the scalpers have a bunch of tickets. Watch them sell to someone else and make sure the people who just bought are let in.

It's not 100%, but it'll give you a good idea.

Also the best deals happen 10 minutes into the opening act.

Tix for Portishead a few years ago. Found him on Craigslist. I was paranoid that the tix would be bogus. But thankfully they weren't being too stringent at the door, so who knows? I got in which was the point.

bought a scalper's ticket to Jamiroquai show outside Roxy for their Travelling Without Moving release show. Thought I was gon get ganked but I got in.

And bought a scalp ticket for a show at the Highline Ballroom outside the venue, and got in with it.

I'm pissed tho that these bots are winning in getting tix and then selling them for higher on stub and other places.

Had to steal a seat.
