Well the last HS Football Award.
Khaleed was the only player from his Kennesaw Mountain HS team that was named to the entire team (Banquet w/last night). And he was 1 of 6 DB's for the entire county (16 Schools). I'm so proud of my son. He's a great kid and a good person to all. But I'm sad at the same time because his HS career is coming to an end - I guess it's just the father in me. I've seen him play football locally since he was 8 yrs old. Sure college is around the corner, but that mean he's gonna be leaving home too.
Still, Basketball season is going strong and KC is a starter on the team that's 17-8 and their tournament game is on Wed. If they win the next 2 games they will be going to the State.
As for the recruitment process, it's been a stressful journey and KC hasn't made any decisions. But he's leaning towards Albany State or Carson Newman. HE really want's to go to Kansas State, but that will have to be a Walk On play. There were a few D1 schools that showed strong interest, but the team had a losing record and they fell off. But GOD will make a way for his heat's desired to be answered- I'm sure of it.
