I spent a good 3-4 hours out there yesterday trying to clear it off and only go about a 1/4 of it done. Now, it looks like I didn't do it at all as we got another foot today.
It's not a deck that is up high, so I think it will be okay.
I need to clear that path again for the dog. I had the snow blower in the backyard clearing paths.

nice, spring-like temps, walking around in shirts and short sleeve shirts, walked to the store earlier and stopped counting the number of cars with the top down when I hit 10.

I'm tired of having to scrape ice off my windows to drive to work.

Jesus.
i thought this craziness was just a Chicago problem. i'm sad to hear Boston is on that ridiculousness too.
sheesh. 70 inches of snow in a month? unprecedented, right? which means unprecedented shit like severe disruptions of the T should be expected. which means unprecedented shit like closing down *insert place of employment here* should be expected.
i can't stand it when ppl act like life should just go on like normal in the midst of unprecedently horrific weather conditions.

I saw something on the news about some part of Jersey not having enough salt for future snow storms and it mentioned it was partial due to Morton Salt having a high demand for the entire east coast. I also read Boston already blew through the snow removal budget already. Has to be miserable when there isn't anywhere for the shoveled snow to go.
