I attended a party recently and figured why not for the first time Friends panicked figuring I would choke, I did fine
But later on, we were discussing how they dont get you high or hit any addictive spot like nicotine does (to my knowledge, I've never smoked cigarettes)
I'll probably do it again at some point, there's a cigar place not far from where I live. but what should I look to gain from it?
Couple weeks ago, after finishing a snow jog on the east side, I stumbled upon a cigar shop on 1st near the U.N., so I bought a decent one and smoked it as I walked home. By the time I got to the East Vill, I was stumbling. Very rarely do I smoke cigars, cigarettes or even hookahs, I could probably count on 1 hand. I never remember doing so without drinking, so knowing not to inhale the cigar, I was caught off guard by the strength of nicotine, especially since I also wasn't chewing on the cigar. Anyway...yeah, you still get a high.
And my mouth tasted like a cigar for days later,no matter the multiple gargling and brushing attempts.
yeah you do get a buzz of sorts.. especially if you are drink whiskey or cognac neat or on the rocks, cigars tend to accelerate your buzz.
But yeah I don't get the appeal of them either. I rather buy the cheap ones and gut them. _____________________________________________________ miserable niggas yo cant let nobody have nothing "god save the queen pip pip cheerio tea time princess di" ass niggas (c)white desus

I've made that mistake many times. After a basketball game or running or something, a cigar will make me light headed and even nauseous.
Regarding the taste lingering, were you holding the smoke in your mouth? I smoke cigars somewhat regularly and I rarely get the lingering taste. When I draw the smoke in, I never close my mouth. I immediately squeeze the smoke out simply by closing my jaw but with my lips apart. Holding the smoke in your mouth can also increase the lightheadedness and nausea effects.

I see more people smoking weed publicly than tobacco cigars, so I rarely ever even see good cigars. I'm so bad, I stopped by a friend's place, and he had a few fancy cigars (fat, handrolled ones) and I didn't even consider (until now) that he might smoke them without gutting and re-filling them first.

And I don't think Black and Milds and Swishers are meant to be inhaled, either.
I think the smoke is richer than a cigarette. Although I think it's more natural (lacking the chemicals and such), I think it will mess up your lungs more.
edit - and yeah I'm sure it does seem weird if you are used to inhaling things, but cigars are made for the flavor, not for nicotine delivery (although they do deliver some). Cigar smoke very well may contain more nicotine than cigarette smoke, but your mouth lining doesn't absorb it nearly as much as your lungs.

...we had a video in stuff titled "Nude Cigar Smoking." Which, near as I can tell from reading the back of the box, was 90 minutes of naked wanna-be Penthouse models smoking cigars. That's it. Nothing especially suggestive beyond that.
