AWL over music for a long ass time.

kashif owned the 80's, though. he had a defined sound and that ish was ubiquitous for a hot minute.

and probably because it was the start of me being influenced by radio music versus what my father played and listed to.

i remember the first time i heard i love you babe...i stayed glued to the radio to hear it again and find out who was singing it...still one of my favorite songs.

i love most of his songs except for that corny ass song he did with eric clapton.
