of D's 3 albums 2 are somewhat inaccessible. they're not designed for mass appeal.

Jon's music has more of that mass appeal design. it doesn't appeal to the masses, but his music to 'swing for those fences' in a way that D's music doesn't. Jon's music is less challenging. does he have a joint like '1000 Deaths'? 'The Charade'? 'Devil's Pie'? 'Africa'? 'Til It's Done'? you know?

made things happen and he had more balance in his music. smooth cuts and up tempo and i respect him as a artist and I don't feel he was a Culture bandit.

imagine if D'angelo had have worked with a Babyface and how that might have helped him not so sound like a R&B lounge act?

Jon B got talent,he just ran out of gas before too long and industry politics because he wasn't a White Boy Faking the Goods.

if D'angelo ever has a Joe Pesci from Goodfellas say stop stuttering and open up your mouth and He also get some legit songwriting going on, then He might match half the hype of the delusion. with D'angelo we will never have conclusion
