Started watching it after hearing the creative team behind it on The Combat Jack Show.

Technically it's not good (poor acting, editing, etc.) but the storyline keeps you coming back.

They film primarily in Brooklyn so it's cool to see some familiar places in there.

Im sure it's based in reality (Harlem and Brooklyn are two different worlds, I barely visited), but it's not something Im interested in watching as a New York native. My homeboy from LA loves it, it's for people deeply fascinated by that life. the same way Bobby Shmurda didn't really do it for me

the 12 O Clock Boys documentary about Baltimore bike gang culture was real and street without the predictable and boring violence

they have been making the rounds on podcast and morning shows lately
only half the season is good i'd say
then the shit gets REAL repetitive
dude said they write the week before a show airs
so it seems like he didn't really know how to evolve the story once the buzz started
i'm still checking season 2 though

Broad City started out the same way and look where they're at now...

I've only seen the first 2 eps so not much to go on besides the non-acting but dude who can't catch a break, and his BM sweating him, not looking good for him.
