Your children are not your property. They did not elect your faith and they deserve the same protections that other children get.

parent to decide what's best for a person's children UNLESS that parent has patently proven themselves unfit to make such decisions.

Does not vaccinating your kid fall into the category of unfit to parent?

I don't think so. Even if it means your kid may get sicker from time to time and might not live as long. I'll admit that sounds harsh but I have a problem with the state deciding what's best for people and their kids. I will admit that I am not married to that POV and could be convinced otherwise if I learn some dangers of non-vaccination I am not aware of.
