Positivity is awesome...let's spread some of that!
I'll start, I've been looking for a place since July, after moving back to my moms...well I got the call yesterday that the 3 bdr house that I was looking at to rent has accepted my application and I sign my lease on Friday! Everything is just starting to fall into place and I love it!

for the first time in at least 5 years
also, i gave up like 9 things at new years. not all "vices" per say, but certainly a lot of self-indulgent behavior. most of them aren't permanent - just a chance to simplify my life for a period of time but its going great! and i feel great!
I've basically had a string of shitty b-days since 30 (my mom died a few days after that one.) but shit's lining up to be pretty spectac this year - should be fun! and thank you!

Life as a new homeowner is kinda stressful right now (nothings going as fast or as smooth as I'd like), but when the wife and actually move in to the new spot, it's gonna be all kind of awesome.

Got a call wednesday saying he was going into emergency BRAIN surgery on wednesday and spent the next 4 days in the ICU. Tuesday he was back home. God (and them doctors) is good.
