for sure, when i had my first child, i knew i wasnt ready....we made a list of pros and cons and the cons won....but we still had the baby.
best thing that ever happened to me.
the second pregnancy was a case of bad timing, and we never really made a list, but in hindsight there were probably more pros than cons....but she was convinced and i went along. no, i did more than that, i agreed.
but when it came time to do the do, i remember having to push past the protesters. and when it was all done, we laid up in a hotel room, i guess to lay low and recover.
well during the day, the movie Beloved came on tv, i cant even remember which part of the movie it was, i prolly blocked it out my mind....but we both saw something to make us realize that we prolly made the biggest mistake of our lives. and we cried like bitches about it in that room.

was still sleeping with an ex who was seeing someone else, came in her one time then a few weeks later she told me she was pregnant. but her boyfriend aint know about me so he figured it was his and paid for the procedure.
they're no longer together, she's still kind of a friend (see each other once or twice every few years). she's got kids now and it makes me think.... dang that was a close one.

Many moons ago, I was in an on again off again relationship over the course of 3-4 years. After it finally ended, a mutual friend confided in me that right after one of our off periods began, she found out she was pregnant and terminated.
I was crushed. In retrospect it was for the best, because had I known I would have tried to talk her out of it, and probably would have proposed as well. That couldn't have ended well.
I didn't find out until a couple of years after the fact. that there could have been a life I helped create on this earth.
How she told me was crazy. we were about to count down the new years, 2013. I spent the rest of the night and next few days mourning something I didn't even know I could mourn.
Every once in awhile it hits me that I could have been a father. Freaks me out on one hand and makes me wonder what kind of man would I be if that would have been the case.
Kinda feel like I was cheated out of becoming a better person.

we criiiiied cried cried after she did it that shit hurt us tore us apart we never were the same after that for months after that shit whenever i would see a kid on the street i'd feel some type of way inside and think about my unborn like damn that could be me right now it took me a lil minute to get over that before then i never thought about abortion but when faced with that situation it makes you BEAU UP really fucking quick and take a side
I only regret the fact that I could have had a child that was around 11 by now, whereas I'm getting older now with no child. But I wasn't ready, the girl wasn't ready, and she wasn't the right one to stick with for me long term.

sometimes.
I was 17 and it was my high school sweetheart of 3yrs.
Will never forget that day in December. It was snowing and we went together.
I was allowed no input in the decision, which bothered me because I wanted to think about it more. But she was adamant that it wasn't happening so I just accepted it.
I didn't tell my mother about it until years later. She was upset that I never told her.
