frequent date nights, we do most everything together...we go to bed at the same time most nights and fall asleep in each other's arms every night (unless we had an argument lol)..he tells me he loves me and that I'm beautiful pretty much every day...hugs and kisses every day

I really love hearing stuff like this, and from the way you talk about your husband on here I know you mean it.

but the longer we are together, the less frequent those bad times are...but it takes work. and i've learned that sooooooo many people are NOT about that work.
plus, we found each other later in life...sometimes that makes a difference in how much more you appreciate each other.
I expect something big or small. unless money is really tight, I expect a token, even if its just a card. we dont make big deals out of holidays and birthdays

we talked about it a few times before & she was like "I don't really celebrate V-Day so I'm not expecting anything." Nah, come Feb 15th I got ripped a new one cuhz we didn't really celebrate. I'm never making that mistake again.
I asked him if he'd planned to celebrate the day and he immediately said no. I was all, cool. Great. Glad to know. And I started to imagine taking myself out alone that day. But then I realized that I was upset. So I said, "Wait, I do want to do something. I was gonna let it go but I don't wanna. That'd be a lie. I do wanna do dieting and it doesn't have to be big, but it has to be something. It can even be untraditional."
So now that I said all that I realized I gotta do something too. Ugh. Boy, I stuck my foot in my mouth this time... what am I gonna do?

I'm married. If I get one...great. If I don't okay... My hubby works hard to put a roof over mine and our daughter's head while I am able to stay home and be a mom to her. He pays for my gym memberships and anything else I need. If he forgets Valentine's Day...it's okay
But, maybe that's just me.
