In recent years, fans have celebrated the legacy of the late, great producer J Dilla with the annual Dilla Day tribute concert Jay Dee's hometown of Detroit. In 2015, the festivities will be officially moving to the warmer climates of Miami, FL for a full weekend of Dilla events.

Presented by Dilla's mother Ma Dukes, this year's Dilla Day Weekend is set to take place in Miami from February 5th - February 8th. Confirmed performers include Joey Bada$$, Mobb Deep, Pete Rock, Madlib, Talib Kweli, Slum Village, Dead Prez, Black Milk, ESTA, Camp Lo, and many more to be announced. The events will take place in a number of different locations around Midtown/Wynwood area in Miami including: The Stage, Bardot, and LMNT.

Being that Miami is like 2.5 hrs from me
Tickets are decently priced. It's a strong lineup
III points fest has been picking up a little steam I see

I decided to go on a whim. Not even knowing who was really gonna be there. I am pleasantly surpised. ANd my Little Brother decided to go with me. We about to do it up for sure!! Let me know if you are going we can meet up at one of the events. Sh*t happening all weekend. I'm there thru sunday night.

I think it's about a yr or three old
Weekend long event spread out in Miami

They had their festival a few months ago
They had flying lotus kaytranada and a few others
But I guess they're doing more events outside of
Music tests which is cool as fuck

I'm definitely thinking about swinging down there
That wknd, you live in Miami?

There aren't that many Florida okps on the boards
So yeah id def be down for linking up
