a ton of ppl going get rich(er) and local governments that allow it will cake off the taxes but i don't see how that trickles down to our communities even with increase tax revenue i'm skeptical of failed states/cities using it wisely

Yeah I think that's a huge benefit
The only way we (blk ppl) won't benefit from the legalization of marijuana is because we aren't thinking progressive enough to benefit financially from it...like so many white ppl are already doing. Very few blk ppl I know who smoke and/or sell weed aren thinking abt growing it and profiting off it besides making a few dollars curb serving...
