in my experience most latino countries are very much into showering, brushing your teeth thoroughly, etc. presentation is very important culturally and of course proper care saves money in the long run.
maybe i have a skewed impression hanging around with women age 18-30, but i don't think so. you see kids, of both genders, and they are immaculate a lot of times.

She's basically saying ethnics are normal and white people are ridiculous with the showering (2-3 times per day aka Tom Ford). Plus she grouped herself in the people that bathes once every 2-3 days. I believe showering should depend on the person's lifestyle and chemistry.
And I dont think it's a race thing at all. She'd be surprise at the amount of Whole Food whites who probably shower the same, or less, amount of times as her.
