that's seems like the best option to get killed or hurt. Every building has secondary exits. Ever since the e2 tragedy in Chicago I am extra cautious of that. My first instinct would have been to run to the opposite side of the gunshots.
And why was that dude in the white still holding his cup?

I haven't been around for gunshots, but both times a big brawl happened I went out secondary exits. Once out the back door and once through the kitchen exit. My childhood friend died in e2. I pay attention to all exit signs.
