"OKCooks: Do you ever cook most of the recipes you collect?"

I'm sitting here thinking about breakfast and just poring over random recipe links cuz apparently that's how I like to spend my time but I looked at my bookmark folder and at this point, you can just keep scrolling and scrolling

there's no way I'm gonna get through 75% of that but I still collect and I still just sit here frustrated about these crab rangoons I wanna make now but I don't feel like biking to BK Chinatown

*sigh*

good morning. a side question would be, what are you guys gonna have for breakfast?

I'm settling on the idea of some deviled eggs with home fries and crispy bits of bacon and scallion and chive sprinkled on top

when I fall into cooking rut...no because I eat the same thing week after week. but boredom kicks in and I go to my pinterest and I find stuff.

Breakfast I halved an avocado cracked 2 eggs on the inside, salt & pepper...baked it.

Sometimes new and sometimes thrifted, I usually have a few recipes out of each that go into rotation. The online ones that I print out and go into a binder yeah. I'm looking for something very specific like pad Thai then I make it.

I'm working my way through Bryant Terry's Afro-Vegan and the Oh She Glows cook book right now.

I made lentils, tofu scramble, a green salad, and whole grain toast this morning.

there are more than 1,000 recipes saved on my laptop, not counting whatever i have bookmarked - plus i have recipe binders and cookbooks packed away in storage. there are a few things i come back to, but a lot of it is me just flipping through looking for ideas/inspiration.
