I love how intertwined all three are, yet they all evolved into their own distinct sound while still being somewhat similar and borrowing elements from one another.

My residency got double booked with a Omega Psi Phi event once. They had their DJ with them, we had our rig with myself and our other resident DJ plus I had booked Disco D as the feature. Our sound guy didn't know their DJ so he wouldn't let dude get on the decks so we came to a compromise: Feed me the records and I'd flip 'em nice and tight. This was one that dude fed me and it damned near brought the house down.
