not that they were all silenced but if you assume none of them knew about each other, it's plausible that they each individually chose not to come forward. also, some of them or at least one of them did come forward before since the allegations were around prior to all of this blowing up.
it's still mind-blowing but i wouldn't rule anything out at this point.
