good luck with everything
one week down, 51 more to go!
so i'm trying to be more patient in 2015 starting with driving. my commute was too good to be true this week but i don't know if it's bc of my attitude or bc people were still on vacation. let's say it was my attitude
i was suffering from anxiety over the dumbest thing at the end of last year and i decided to just let it go. i will not stress myself out over situations where i have a choice to say fk it. so i let that obnoxious lady have my spot AND my bag at kickboxing. it's just one day out of the week. i still don't like her though bitch.
i am going to be OLD (and fine) this year. i'm turning 40 in september and already making celebration plans. my mom said it seems like i was just a tiny newborn in her arms. *thefeelz* but yeah plans are underway and i'm getting in shape with this next 90-day fitness challenge. i'm following it to the letter this time. i feel refreshed, focused, and up for it this time. i did lose 7lbs and 2% body fat last time but i went ham over the holidays and gained like half of that back. oopsie!
celebrating my boo's bday this wknd. he's a cheap date so we going to jose tejas and i'm having TWO drinks, an appetizer, AND an entree...lol

i could not get my head back into the game on monday
but i'm back in it now. tons of work.
i'm going to portland! my first biz trip for the new job. i'm excited about it. i hope i can get a DJ gig out there while i'm at it
my first day of my residency went well. i recorded it but i think i want to do a condensed, more polished version. i had some really good blends/transitions i want to highlight
i ended up spinning for a former mayor on wednesday
and i got paid out some leftover sick days from last year! woot! taking some of that money and treating myself. the rest goes to savings and/or debt. lol.
tonight i'm gonna peep some folks of mine DJ tomorrow i need to run errands and celebrate a friend's bday
sunday, prep for the residency and see if i can do a remix of last week
this week has been trying on pretty much all of the levels, so i'm really glad we made it to friday. i did see "selma" at a screening earlier this week, so it wasn't all doom and gloom despite the movie's subject matter.
going to the opera after work tomorrow and then maybe i will find some chill on sunday. i feel like i've been going damn near nonstop this week and i know i need to have a seat somewhere.
life is good and love is good and god is good...y'all have fun and be safe out there, mmkay?

when i was pregnant i got a kick out of ppl telling me how huge i was being thin my whole life i wasnt used to it and it was funny to me i borderline rejoiced when i spotted a lil cellulite on my thighs one day lol

I need one day a week to just do nothing, but that's impossible with my schedule so Im just trying to work in a few hours a day that aren't work related, not counting sleep
family dinner at Ruth's Chris tomorrow, this excites me way more than it should since I went twice in September, but it's the little things that count
