6. "RE: I quit my job!... How do you do the last 2 weeks?" In response to Reply # 0
I worked at a company and i put in my two weeks notice. a few days later I get pulled into an office and my manager pulls out a spreadsheet of my badge swipe times. then he laundry lists the times i was late.
they were 1 minute here and 2 minutes and even a few 30 seconds
from 6 months ago!!!! he gives me a verbal warning write up (my first one)
and states that even though I put in my 2 weeks he could still fire me if Im late again....
after I left his office i packed my desk and went to HR and turned in my badge and made my resignation official as of that day...
I saw him a few years later and he sticks out his hand to give me a hand shake .. it took everything in me not to punch that dude.
