losing your brother to violence is not something you get over easily. she's a victim too.
it's easy for folk outside of those types of realities to talk about what someone should and shouldn't do, especially online when you don't have to face that every day. most that are quick to critique it won't take the steps to go there and help her deal with it.

I think I do my fair share to mentor and support poor kids from BK to my hometown in VA (and you have little to no information to challenge that). One of the biggest obstacles I see with young people like this is unwillingness of those ostensibly who are sympathetic to their plight, to tell them what they should and shouldn't do.
Think what you want, but I am okay with saying this young woman shouldn't have a tattoo across her neck and rhyme about the folks she has or will murder.

It usually dependent on the age of intervention. For example my family worked with/fostered this one set of sisters and brothers and the oldest kid eventually went to jail for a double homicide while the youngest in the family is about to be the first in the family to graduate college and is trying to decide on what law school he wants to go to. The rest of the siblings ended up somewhere in between.
I wouldn't define the work by the successes. I would define the work by actually doing it and trying.
Anyway my ultimate point is that what people are talking about online doesn't necessarily say anything about what they are doing offline.

Doing something to the guy who killed her brother then that's a positive.
A lot of art is based on dealing with pain in a constructive way.
I don't know this lady, for all I know she might be about that life and actually going out getting into violent altercations, then again she could be some shy wallflower putting on an act, I dunno.
She IS fucked if that guy gets out and something happens to him.
