I keep breaking down thinking about those poor people possibly still strapped in their seats in the bottom of a sunken plane in the sea.
I know their relatives are just sick thinking about it, cause I am and I don't even know any of the people.

I found myself daydreaming about ways to survive a crash like that. Maybe fly with a full life jacket on, helmet, and hour supply of oxygen in hand.
But it's all foolish. There's no way out. The plane goes down in the middle of such vast water you a dead, no doubt.

It's so final, which why I think it bothers everyone so much. We take for granted how safe air travel is. But this has me shook.
I really didn't think it would happen again so soon. And who the hell pays for the plane that was shot down? I ain't forgot.

6 days a week sometimes more than one job a day for november and december. the money will be nice when it gets to me, but being burned out isnt worth it

I have to let go of my emotional attachment to winning. In fact, I have - done. No, I'm not that parent that talks to the coach after games, but I have been know to give the Referees a hard time - during the game. I usually don't say anything until after the 3rd or 4th really bad call. Sometimes, these dudes just want to collect a check and be out the building.

Also, last night after a 2 pt loss on the championship game of a tournament, I told my son that I was going to just chill and give him a break too. Yes, I have given my son the business for not exercising the God given Basketball I.Q. that I know he has. But, like always I try to teach him to let the game come to him, pay attention to the flow, and to be more aggressive towards the basket. He's so unselfish at times that it hurts his flow and the team. Plus he's been working on staying out of foul trouble on the defensive end and that's limited his aggressive offensive play. Anyway I'm on Super Chill Mode

I will be 42 this year coming. My dad lived until he was 39... every year I get is a gift. No longer will I be frustrated and angry most of the year for the sake of someone else's feelings.

I have been with my wife for 12 years (relationship) and 9 years married... her Mom bought me a shirt for x mas this yera... .first time EVER... maybe things are changing with them... but I don't know that I want their friendship anymore...

She and the boy were gone since day after x mas... visiting her Mom. She got back yetserday and from the moment see got back instead of hugging... missing each other and loving... we got to the bickering. She even woke me up at quarter to midnight to complain about a decision I made around 6:15 pm.

She found a way to re-issue an issue and harp on it this morning while we were in the car. I am tired of our son hearing us argue.

I am tired of arguing.
I am tired of not being hugged, kissed, shown affection at all...
and I swear I am tired of being blamed for everything wrong in the relationship. That is old and long since tired. I admit I am not perfect... but shit... you lived with me for 12 years. When do you accept who you married and deal with me on that level?

We ain't brand new...and I am tired of being tired. January we will start counseling or Feb I start looking for a place. Straight up.

but 2014 has been the most trying year for me--my so getting locked up, losing our place, having to move back home, the stress of moving back home, having to tell our daughter that her daddy is locked up, losing some GREAT people in my life...the only real highlight of my year was seeing my dear friend marry the love of her life.

I'm so ready for 2015...this HAS to be MY year...everything is going to fall in place and I claim that right now--in Jesus name!

We went to my brothers for Xmas and shit went left real quick.

Long story short my sister is an angry individual who made sure we didnt have a good time.

October 2008 I had lost my job, my relationship, and numerous friendships in a three week span. The situations were not interconnected but were as they all affected me. Additionally they were probably all over dramatized by being 24 and prone to early life crisis at that age.

In December of 2008 my grandmother who had been my closest friend in life unexpectedly and suddenly passed away. I remember the call, I remember collapsing to the floor, the panic atttacks that come (less so now but still frequently) whenever my father calls are a direct result of that.

I drank that entire month, and the only day I was sober was because I was too hungover to drink.

In that span of months I would find myself barely conscious. I'd take sleeping pills as soon as I'd wake up and then watch the next 24 until I passsed out again. I wasn't eatiing much, and only texting my parents to let them know "I'm alive".

I put up black paper on the windows so it would always be dark enough to sleep, and that was life. I guess. I don't know what I was hoping for, or waiting for, but there were occasional sparks, reasons to continue, and so I prayed one night.

I wasn't and still am not particularly religious, but I got on two knees, and talked aloud to whatever and whomever was listening. I asked that if I can survive until the new year, I'll do whatever it takes to never be in that place again.

And on Janiary 1, 2009, I took the paper down, I got a gym membership, and I sobered up. I stopped taking sleeping pills, and started job hunting like it was a job. I bough a bicycle and a used camera, posted on a blog and pushed forward.

That was six years ago. I am not a perfect person, and most situations I've been in have been on my own accord. But I'm thankful to be able to try to push, to move forward, to see today and hope for tomorrow. Because it could've been a day without one or two people, or a mistake that I didn't see in context, or just one step in the wrong direction that I wouldn't be here.

I'm so excited for today, I'm so excited for tomorrow's promise. For what's possible. And I'm grateful for anyone and everyone that's had a part. I only hope to contribute the same.

This year I'm taking off to parts unknown a few times this year. First, I'm headed to Portland in March to scout the area for a potential move. I'm ending the year in Kauai. This time buying a ticket months in advance saves me $1600 on a flight. Don't even ask me how ridiculous hotels are out there. *sad face*

This is the year I go raw and do all types of ain't shit stuff because I need to. My soul is crying out screw all this responsibility, people suing you, and people that want me dead.

I found a cheap katana for $150 to go along with my mace, glocks, crossbow, machete, and nightstick.
