- reeeally tho? I love stuff like that, so i go back and liate and all I ever seem to hear when I listen is a shit ton of overused cliches and platitudes with like 20 "motherfuckers" per verse for no creative reason, just because space is uncomfortable I guess and so more filler is needed.
You'd think listening to Scarface must be like hearing an old Cuban cigar smuggler recite a forgotten Norman MacCaig version of Moby Dick, striking in its consice punch and verbal economy, rejected for the harsh raw depictions of the way wooden peg rubbing against bone feels.
Instead, because the person praising Scarface is almost always someone whose taste you respect, you go back to listen, excited to hear this and instead this is what you hear
