These days you can find 3lb packs of bacon ends and pieces for cheaper than you can get three 1lb packs. I don't need my bacon to be perfectly sliced to eat it; bacon chunks works the same way.

I can't remember the last time I had it. If I have options. It's not usually my first choice. but i don't really avoid it. I eat sausage with pork in it and don't worry about it. *shrug*

been known to throw slices on the charcoal grill when doing hot dogs... a good hot dog with cole slaw, bacon, and chopped tomatoes is a wonderful thing.
A few years ago I had dinner at Peter Luger's for a bachelor party. Somebody ordered bacon all around. Everyone got a single slice of bacon. It was awesome. The only thing that really smirched it for me was the fact that several of the guys actually trimmed the fat off their slices. I was like WTF THAT'S LIKE A $5 SLICE OF BACON YOU PICK UP THAT FAT AND EAT IT RIGHT FUCKING NOW THE FAT IS 75% OF THE POINT

i should have took a pic of the entire assembly i slice the slices in half lay them on baking racks inside cookie sheets then wait about 15 mins for all them pieces of meat candy to be ready
