I ask because I have extended family in Port-Au-Prince and I've been anxious to take a trip back (I haven't been in over 3 decades), so I'm curious as to how that worked.
Also....do you speak Kreyol or French? If either or neither, how easy was the communications, etc.
a friend and a non profit whose founders i know both decided to extend an invite to stay with the non profit in december. They have a guest house in Delmas, Port - au prince for volunteers and others. so it made sense with room and board and meals being included for a small fee.
So we were there then traveled to the country in St. Louis du Sud.
