friday evening i came home and founda package on my island.
only i hadn't put it there. i can only presume it was left at the outside door and then brought INSIDE my home while i was out.
we have a caretaker who has master keys and honestly i can't tell you who all else. there was no note saying anyone had been in my home {a requirement}.
i've sent 2 emails demanding to know who was in my home and to have my locks changed. no response.
i'm planning to call the police department and have them take a report.
I was home from work... Expecting a package... I had peeked out of the front door at some point in the AM to check for it because I thought i'd heard UPS on the porch....
Went and sat back down on the couch...in my draws...to continue the lil "movie marathon" I had poppin off....
About an hour later.....there was a *knock, knock, knock* on the door...
Because I was "wrapped up" in the movie, I didn't answer...but I at least had the decency to get 1/2 decent.....
Well...the *knock, knock, knock* somehow transitioned to a *knock,knock,knock,creeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakk*...and before I knew it, the front door was opening....
UPS dude just smoove placed the package down on the floor just inside the door, gave me a "whatup", and rolled out...
Moral of the story..... ALWAYS make sure the door latches when you live in an 80-year old house.... .
