"Now If We Can Just Get A Full Album From L-Boogie/Dr.Dre/Kast"

I'd be good for the next 5-10 years

Hopefully D dropping his record will motivate/inspire these artists to release new material...because you know (w/the exception of Outkast) all of them probably got 2 or 3 albums worth of material that they're sitting on

I keep hearing Lauryn has contract issues w/Columbia why she's unable to drop a new CD (that I heard is ready for release and has been described as "brilliant")

Dre is a billionaire and is good and doesn't seem press to drop "Detox" in this lifetime but I still believe it'll eventually come out

Outkast is the one out of all these acts I have the least faith in when it comes to releasing new material - 3Stacks just doesn't seem interested in doing another Kast album..and instead keeps talking abt dropping a solo project that was suppose to drop damn near a year ago ...I'd much rather have a new Outkast record than to hear him drop a solo project

And if there's still an audience for D'angelo who at his peak wasn't a a bigger star than either of them then surely ppl would get excited abt and support new material from those acts (especially if it's dope)

And as much as you say you don't care any of them, if Lauryn Hill/Dre/Kast released some classic material you'd be right there w/the rest of us checkin for it

That deal was struck right before she went to prison...I don't know if it releases her from other contractual obligations w/Columbia/Ruffhouse

Perhaps things have changed now - I'm not sure

What I was referring to was something I read abt in 2012

...Elvis and Tupac could come back and produce a greatest hits album together in 2015.

If D'Angelo can come back, literally anything is possible.

I'm sure ALL of these artists are sitting on at least a full album or 2 of material

Outkast is the one who I don't see ever releasing another group project

But I can see Lauryn putting something out - Dr. Dre prolly not other than stuff for other artists he'll produce

That's your opinion and I'm sure others might agree but it's possible it was overrated but was still a great album, maybe not as great as all the hype it got although I think it was a great album

at this point i would prefer compilations of vaulted material over a new album from them

there are a bunch of artists like this who haven't released a new studio album in a long time, and i say the more the merrier as far as comeback albums go, but honestly the examples you picked my enthusiasm has really waned on for various but i think obvious reasons

he'll have to find a new lane and new subject matter.

It can't even really be set to where he's rapping about supposed "past stuff", because now he represents one of the biggest corporations in the country.

The new OutKast album will feature new Big Boi verses and old and unreleased André verses.

Lauryn's next album will be a live album of her show. The album will be 15 minutes long and will take 7 hours to download from the time it was originally scheduled to be downloaded.
