"Is Kevin Hart Hammie the Bear? "

after watching almost every Kevin Hart movie I realize that his movies have no jokes. KEVIN HART IS THE JOKE. And that’s when you know you are eating a slice of the devil’s pie – apple cinnamon racism...

And doonnnnn’t forget the 55 obligatory short jokes in every single one of his movies. C’mon son. That routine is whack, hacky, piano tie, hammer pants whack...

Didn't make me think of Kevin Hart, at all. He seems content doing comedies, just like a lot of other comedians.

There are lots of comedic styles. Just because he's not a comedy nerd's wet dream, that doesn't invalidate what he does. No one who's a student of comedy is going to call him one of the all time greats, but there are lots of comedians who get bigger than their technical or creative skills.

How is this any different than any other artistic industry? Are the most famous musical artists always the best musicians? How often has the hottest rapper out at the moment also been the dopest lyricist in the game?

Don't sweat KH so much. Dude just caught his wave at the right moment.

Kevin Hart is very funny. Glad for his success. But can't we all agree that it's the same shtick over and over again? I just think his work would be classic if they mixed round-the-way kev with a fleshed out Kev. Instead they give him an outline and instruct him to ad-lib for 90 minutes.

That's the same thing that brought down the quality of Martin. Funny for the first 3 season but once the ad lib gets he needed to fall back on quality writing but didn't. that's why i think those last 2 season of Martin are painful to watch.

Chris Rock played a crack head in the 80's and now he's making a passion project.

Yeah. You have point with the crack head thing. But I still kind'uh feel like Pookie had depth. Chris Rock played a great pookie. He didn't continue to play pookie movie after movie after movie.

And pookie was a character. KH's characters. i'ont'kno...they're carbon copies of how he acts on interviews and on stage.

Not trying to come down to hard on the guy...we all have to make compromises.

yeah but at times he can be pure funny especially the way he tells a story.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

But you can't deny his hustle and the hard work that has kept him, the rock, and that chick from Avatar on that list of goto colored leads.
