i'm so glad. i'm exhausted. but i got my first essay back and i got a really good grade, which i'm particularly happy about since most people did not do well & also i was terrified of my tutor lol. it's been i've managed to keep on top of my reading & hit all my deadlines.

i've been at some wonderful events recently, both creative & academic, and have been connecting with fantastic people. also reconnecting with friends i haven't seen for a while.

i've met new people who are so open & welcoming for when i hit the middle east at the end of the month. i'm really looking forward to checking out a new place, as well as obviously seeing father dearest & his whole clan. LULZ

i myself would never want to be god,or even like god.Because god got all these human beings on this planet and i most certainly would not want to be responsible for them, or even have the disgrace that i made them.

this week has been kinda spectacular. got to hang out with a college friend i hadn't seen in a minute, finally got to see/hear roxane gay in person (and i asked her a question about barefoot contessa idc idc idc), and now i'm off work for a whole week. s/o to #alldecembereverything.

tomorrow will be all about #unsober shenanigans with one of my girlfriends, then eventually coming home and passing out. sunday is my annual b-day ladybrunch where we will consume ALL OF THE MIMOSAS and, if past years are any indication, the waitstaff will politely ask us to leave b/c we're the last ones there and they need to set the restaurant up for dinner service.

i have no idea what 38 will look like, but here's to finding out.

life is good and love is good and god is good...y'all have fun and be safe out there, mmkay?
