Been listening to them on KPFK/ Pacifica for years...try Thom Hartmann too. Dude is super smart and on point with most things. He's a little too tied to the Democratic Party for my taste, but he usually has his finger on the pulse.

her and i got to explain to the other guests, an older couple that had moved to syria, who stephen colbert was which was awesome. i described my trip to his show taping and she shared how crazy it was to be a guest. she said his producers explained to her to treat him like he was a drunk when trying to get her point across.

I listen for interviews i may not see anywhere else but they definitely can show their bias.

Give it a try you may be surprised at how honorable and democratic their reporting is.

I was on the home leg of a road trip

and caught his UN address on the Israel/Palestine conflict

it was the fuckin' truth...

...but no other media outlets covered it in the US...hmmm

It is clear as day that the mainstream and public media is a propaganda channel for the capitalist agenda, and nothing more.

I'm not a fan of the format or the editing either but we'd be better off more people listened to DN than CNN or MSNBC.

so glad they've managed to stay on sustainably as a outlet.
