to have partaken? The usage of deceased pastors' congregations as hiding places for these fantasies shows it's not dementia or some kind of lapse of memory.
Is this some lie he's told in back rooms and brunches for so long that it's a part of his political persona that he CAN'T remove? How devoid do you have to be of personal accomplishment that you have to so baldly (!) lie?

So yeah, I didn't have much of a political philosophy at that time, but I was still seeing him on the news.
More importantly, when he ran in '08, I was 29, and he'd been a mainstay of the Democratic party for my entire life. So yes, I was familiar with the fact that he was a gaffe machine. You would have been too if you'd been paying attention before you decided politics was all about Bernie versus the world.

Whether it's true or not, which none of the people making an argument of it can know, it's still a completely ineffective argument for the people who are leaning toward voting for him.
