Yep, I've been playing it on repeat the last 2 weeks. I don't mind this song either at all, kinda grown on me but can see why people wouldn't. This isn't Lost Tapes 1 good but its better than Nasir and has quite a few gems on it.
Also, Nas discusses why he did the track here and that it didn't come out quite as he envisioned. Not sure why they put it as the first single to this tho at all cuz think that threw a lot of people off.

I guess most of the early unreleased stuff has already been leaked and on bootleg comps already, I think he wanted to bring more recent unreleased & polished material to the forefront, since he's doing it himself.
After watching the interview with him on Drink Champs, he said he might do a third "Lost Tapes" with all the guest features & collaboration joints.

First two classic. Lost Tapes 1 classic. The rest are disappointing. I Am had some great moments it’s not what we wanted tho. Stillmatic isn’t on no ones top 50 albums list. It was his comeback but there’s still too many what the fuck moments.

To me, his discography is one of the best for solo rap artists. But everybody can nitpick. I love most his albums tho, a few bad songs here and there but overall I dig them. Every artist has duds tho in there catalog especially if they been in the game over 20 years.

There was nothing wrong with God’s Son or Untitled. SD suffered from the usual double album issues, but there’s a great album in there. Life is Good was great, Distant Relatives was really good too. Hip Hop Is Dead was ok. It had its gems.
