"#BoondocksBack"
cthagod #BoondocksBack The following message is from Aaron Mcgruder. “Did these for fun (and to see if I still could). More to come… exactly how much more is tough to say. These strips were only possible due to the enormous talent of my good friend Seung Kim, who did the animation for the old show - and he’s a busy guy. Thanks to him and thanks to Charlamagne for putting these out for me while I get my instagram act together.” AM

although it kinda looks too slick (I preferred the more unpolished look)
the jokes? meh. about what one would expect
it appears he's continuing in the more pg-13 range, which is what it is, but I really do miss when it was a simpler story about actual Black kids in a "fish out of water" environment and less a Black Doonesbury with cussing

Easy to forget that there was a whole story line where Huey and Riley were waiting for the first Star Wars prequel and Grandad volunteered to be a census taker.

trying to find a way to play with the format, that is
i wonder if he is that invested though, as opposed to this being a lark that he may toy with occasionally
especially considering he solicited someone else (who by his own words is a busy cat) to actually do the artwork for these
can't call it
i *DO* find it fascinating that CTG is the one who he filtered these through
i wouldn't have assumed these two were tight like *that* (although if ya gotta pick somebody with the intent of making a splash, picking someone with a high profile is wise)
14. "most illustrators who do IG comics use the slideshow" In response to Reply # 12
but yeah i can't tell how invested he is in IG despite it really being the best way of distributing it. There's no real way to monetize it on IG tho so that's a whole time expense for an intangible return.
