I suppose somebody out there has to work tomorrow but for most of us if we can just get through the next few hours we'll be into the freaking weekend!

I'm looking forward to watching some Stranger Things tonight, going to a friends birthday tomorrow and playing some poker on Sunday. I wish my kids were coming over as I've only had them one weekend this month and I miss them but they're getting older and have their own lives going on so c'est la vie.

heck I might've just started last night and have mostly finished before work. I actually jokingly suggested going to bed at 7pm last night and getting up to start before going in today.

I spent the whole week going home, climbing in bed and eating fun size snickers. LOL
then late last night I get word from back home that a good friend's son committed suicide...hung himself. 22. I called my son just to talk.
Imma pick up my grandkids on the way home and let them tear up my house, making slime, flipping on sofa and making breakfast. They like stuff like that and I like having them there....
I gotta call my eldest(lives in another city these days doing university)!!! that's some awful news! strength and love to your friend and theirs... and you!... buck up camper!! the grandkids and some slime should help some.
Don't hide your sadness but don't wallow.. pick some little things (not unlike mini snickers) to enjoy and look forward to.. set yourself up for some easy victories.. and remember you are loved.
I'm having a bit of difficulty getting up and running with Stranger Things. I want to watch it because the reviews are so good.
I'm glad it's Friday, but I'm already exhausted.
We have 4 Halloween events, swim class and a bunch of errands in between. I think all this craziness is pushing me more and more to get our groceries delivered.

I love it but I grew up on DnD.. those kids are basically my squad.. give it a shot but if you're not feeling it there's no need to force yourself just because something is popular.. to each their own.

you know I tried grocery delivery about 13 years ago or so when it was first becoming a thing. It had it's handy moments but really the refrigeration issues and inability to pick specific produce was a big shortcoming at the time.. it may have improved by now, I mean they've over a decade to get it right. I am considering trying it again

basically has all kinds of meat all pre-marinated... you got your Butter Chicken, your Tikka Masala, your Aloo Gobi, Vindaloo, Pakoras, Samosa's... pick it up take it home and cook it up yourself.. cheaper and better than most delivery.. we just gotta do up our own rice and we're living large chowing down. y'all are missing out.

when I buy the sauces to make it at home it taste nothing like the restaurant so I gave up.
We have an indian market but no butcher shops.

But I did have the little knee scooter. That thing looks ridiculous but it worked very well in the airport. I would have worn myself trying to crutch it thru the Atlanta airport trying to make my connecting flight.
Doc said I can start putting 100% of my weight on it (with the boot) and walk around. But it's awkward. So I still use the crutches for speed sometimes.

Actually he is doing pretty good as far as banking statements are concerned. He has enough and he won’t have to make any payments for 6 months. His credit score is the only mark against him.

Never been to one. One homey I have always says people ask about me, so I feel guilty. I've never been to a high school reunion either (the 25th is coming up in few years). Seems like I'd have to be super joe the whole time, which is why I'm hesitant.
