-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Love is/should be solid & everlasting.
Commitment can be degraded by many factors outside of love. But it doesn't necessarily mean love is gone.

If one of them really reached out to me I'd take the reigns again tho.

The other two are an impossibility. But not for lack of love. One loves and is married to someone else (and happens to live halfway
across the world).

The other I've lost complete contact with over the years. We both keep/kept a comparatively low internet presence.

If a couple is determined to be committed to each other, they will do that whether or not the love for each other is there.

I ask because "love" seems to be something that is transient for a lot of people, making relationships based on love inherently unstable.

I get what you're saying and would vote red. I don't view love that
way tho... and yeah I agree it's an intangible thing that's difficult pin point a hard definition for.

Ultimately, if two people love each other they're going to be together imo.

Only because if you remain committed to each other whether right or wrong the relationship will last by default.

But it probably won't be a healthy relationship.

I've said this for years, the one biggest factor in determining whether a couple will break up is each partners overall "Willingness to Break Up". Nothing else.

Folks who have a very low willingness to break up will stay in abusive relationships and folks with a high willingness to break up will break up cause someone forgot to send a good morning text.

Of course, this factor says nothing regarding the quality of the relationship which is WAAAY more important way to test a value of a relationship in my opinion.

Two people can be committed but to two different things...

i think synergy is more apt. People need to assess their conflict styles and how they interact...are you slow to anger and quick to forgive or the opposite? there should be some alignment there...

there are factors that can predict the length of relationships that no one here ever talks about ...
