"Android Lollipop update killed my phone"
battery life used to be great, now that shit dies every night even when I don't touch it and close all the apps.
shit restarts anytime I surf the web.
they are making sure I can't keep this phone past the 2 year contract.
but I will.

I got the Battery Doctor app for my S5, and I turn my phone off for a good part of the day (when I'm busy during mornings at work, overnight, when I'm in the gym / class)
I got it to where I charge it every other day and want to keep it that way as long as possible.

I adjusted the location finding service. It was using too much battery constantly finding my location. As in 24-7. Awful. I think I set it to use GPS and wifi and not data. Whatever the default is, that is the wrong choice. ______________________________ http://i.imgur.com/Gj5Wy56.jpg
I noticed that my phone is always saying that it's connected to WiFI every few minutes and it drains the battery. When I turn the wifi off the battery doesn't get used up

I gave android 3 years and while I love the customization and freedom but the bugs, updates that killed battery life and hardware issues. Sorry. I dealt mainly with HTC but I I also had one samsung phone and I had the same issues with both. Very odd.
Would of loved to cop that high end Sony xperia but I'm done with android.
