in general....just like he says....we're all a part of the system...we all know how it works....we're all guilty...so essentially....I can't really put much weight behind his take on it unless he's demonstrating how he's using it in a way that makes it more noble.

You don't have to be broke to see the problem and/ or speak on it. And most people don't have the option to opt out of capitalism. If I could...I would as would many.
Folks in other countries, who have a far more inferior quality of life than us here in America, could say the same thing about us when we start talking about capitalism, oppression, inequality...etc. Which is part of the point he was making.
I mean, with that logic, any one in this country with a cellphone, computer, iPad, television, Nikes should not be saying shit regarding pretty much any atrocities happening on earth today. Especially if you pay US taxes too.
