"Broke Shit you'll never give up no matter how much $$$ you make?" Sat May-16-15 04:16 PM by Lardlad95
This doesn't apply to any Jack(off) and Jill(er) types we have in our ranks. I'm talking strictly to people who grew up poor or lower middle class, are middle class or upper middle class (or wealthy) now, but they'll throw a fit if they don't get their goddamn hoppin' john on the table at dinner.
Two things for me...
Ramen noodles and processed pork products will be the death of me. For the most part I eat pretty healthy. I only eat meat like 2-3 times a week. I eat lots of veggies, exercise, etc...
But I don't think the day will come when I'm not gonna eat a vienna and or spicey pickled sausage. I wish I could stop...but years of traveling to a new city in the back of a hot ass beat down second-hand Buick just made me accustomed to gas station food. I suppose I should throw Mystic in the mix too.
Alright....expose your classlessness in this bitch.

in me to just default to the newest/latest. I really do need some new tennis shoes...but I'm gonna wear my current ones until the bottoms fall out.

i almost never pay retail for something, the only time is when i know it's worth. i am always paying way under hunting for a deal or over because its something that is that sought-after, and even then i am trying to pay below market.
And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

it drives me crazy thinking i spent $1 on something that i coulda got for .90 cent. and no, my brain won't say "it's just a dime".
like the great philosopher Big Worm once said, "it's the principle of the whole thing. There's principalities in this."
i was once in a fast food spot and the cashier didn't have pennies or nickles. i was due back .06 cent in change. she said "can i owe you .06 cent?". i said "no, you can give me a dime." she said she couldn't do it cuz her register would be short. so i said if i let it go then i'd be short.
yeah, i really had that exchange over .06 cent. and this wasn't back in the day either. shit happened in 2015.

Not that I necessarily see that as broke people's stuff, but damn if I haven't been killing them since high school. ______________________________________________________________________________
