new to the forum, so excuse me if this was already discussed
new season of The Boondocks coming up in a few weeks how do you guys feel about Aaron McGruder not being involved? do you think it'll make a huge difference?

Hey James, whats up. I'm new to the boards myself and this is my first post. Good to meet you.
To me the show already seemed to be on a downward spiral, the writing imo has lost it's message and settled for generic humor. Now with him leaving the show it seems inevitable it won't last much longer, or just will become something less than unique with seasons of filler material.
The animation though has stepped up so tight from the first season to the new trailer, it just has me blown away. Lesean Thomas and his team of artists are just beasts.

I just followed you on soundcloud & twitter
This scenario reminds me of how Chappelle Show went out ... the long hiatus, followed by the show being aired without the brainchild. I'll definitely be watching it still but I was surprised. Its good to see that it did make it 3 full seasons in original form.

Hey bro, I saw that. Thanks for the support fam. You know I hadn't quite looked at it that way, being similar to the Chappelle Show. One only wonders if Aaron will be on some program down the line speaking on his departure.

...like unforgivably terrible. They sold themselves into SLAVERY really? No social context, no deeper comment on dept in america or predatory lending practices of banks. WOW. That was bad.
