living and dying by the roots going Plat. Believe me, many OKPs have been there. You'd be happier if you let go that desire and realize that these guys having been making music for years and have the fan base to support that. That's more than most hip-hop artist ever get. They doing alright for themselves.
********** Which way is the Ballerina spinning? You sure? Some people see it spinning clockwise, others counter-clockwise. Even stranger, you can get it to change direction by looking at it and visualizing it spinning in the opposite direction. Try it.

i like "dear god" but i don't see that as a song that will make the album go platinum. of course i hope it does go platinum, but i don't see that happening.

With us being in this MP3 music format era I don't think album sales are as important as they used to be. Roots fans will definitely support through both purchasing CDs and MP3s off of Itunes but nobody's feelings get hurt if their album sales aren't in the millions anymore, the ringtones and MP3s are where the money is coming from for these artists.
On The Lookout 4: some new music. WTF is going on this year?

remember when one hit would get you a gold plaque? yeah, nowadays you're lucky to get over 100K with only one hit. The Roots have a very loyal fanbase, so i think 300K+ would be a win for them.
