been a double album. Honey could easily go on Pt. 2. I love Badu the same but this was a misstep on her part especially since she promised(and I know we ALL remember) her saying Pt. 2 would follow in the summer(I heard with my own ears at the Vortex tour), then it was fall, then 09 and we never saw it.
If it's the left and right brain it should have been packaged as such. Do you agree?

Nu Amerykah Part III: Low Down Loretta Brown should come out by the end of the year so she can take another 5 year break from music. The three CDs should later be packed as the Nu AMerykah trilogy with a fourth CD/DVD with video of jam sessions, creative processes, live performances and music videos. I wouldn't mind paying $50 for it if it were to ever happen...

all about Loretta Brown. I just want a cohesive album, looking back Pt. 1 is a milestones ahead of Pt. 2. I love one and like the other.
I agree maybe it should've been a trilogy considering she doesn't get radio or video play(well now she's getting it) like other artists and that's not a diss but reality because her fans understand she's in a different lane.
I also agree there should be some bonus incentives. When are we EVER going to get a live dvd? Considering Badu is a touring artist this is LONG overdue.
I don't care about her personal life, she grown that's her business.

I picked up the deluxe/expanded edition of each of his CDs back in 2007. Mad that many of his original fans would never know that "In Our Lifetime?" had a seperate CD including the Love Man sessions. I wonder if Badu records each of her songs a different way and then selects which version goes on the album. If so, she should release deluxe editions of each of the NU Amerykah albums with a seperate CD including B-sides, jam sessions and alternate versions to each song. Damn, so much money to be made off of us and they aren't capitalizing off of it.

Shes not doing a part 3 she said she doesnt know where that came from.
