If so, how do you get into it if the website is saying it's 'sold out'?

I know it's not a full show or anything but I'd still like to check it out to hold me over until tour dates for the new album start coming out.

An abbreviated set of Badu into dinner/drinks somewhere up in Hollywood afterwards sounds like a good evening even if it is on a Tuesday.

If it's "Sold Out" on the website, that means all the tickets have been claimed. If you're somewhat nearby, you should roll out anyway...people flake on that 1iota stuff all the time, so it's certainly possible for you to get in. Also you could get tickets for the inside portion of the show...if I remember right, the audience from the inside comes out to the concert part of the show, but I don't know 100%.

seemed completely impossible, I generally have no problem getting myself into shows but taped-TV things seem like a different deal.
