Who is The Roots backup drummer? Who fills in When ?uest has a doctors appointment? If there is no backup drummer, who do I send my resume to? (just kiddin ) Has this topic already been discussed; is this a silly ?uestion?

no, i can recall maybe 2-3x he hasn't been able to perfom and i want to say Knuckles filled in but that is just a guess

?uestlove missed a show in Toronto a couple of years ago. They were headlining a day long festival at Fort York, and Knuckles definitely came through on the drums. The whole band (+horns) sounded great, and Lupe and De La came out of nowhere for some cameos.

It was one of my favourite Roots shows.
